DOG BIOGRAPHY: Meet bighearted Brutus, a senior mini who weighs seventeen pounds. Brutus came to MSRNT due to the health of his owner. After Brutus’ medical evaluation, it became clear that he had some health issues himself. He’s been successfully treated for bladder stones, and has had a full teeth extraction. However, that hasn’t stopped his appetite! He eats well and is house-trained. He also enjoys lounging on comfy furniture and being close to his foster mom. Apparently he’s not too much of a lap dog right now, although that may change in the future. He’s mostly quiet, but does like to express himself occasionally, like most other schnauzers. One thing Brutus doesn’t like is TV violence. He barks at the TV when he sees it. His foster mom is currently looking into how he feels about comedy and drama – we’ll be sure to keep everyone updated. We’re also still evaluating his behavior around children and other pets. Brutus is so full of love and personality!  Would you like to call this precious mini your own? Let an MSRNT volunteer know.
