What is Comedo Syndrome or ‘Schnauzer Bumps’?

Schnauzer Comedo Syndrome, also known as ‘Schnauzer Bumps,’ is a common skin disorder for Schnauzers, but can also be found in other breeds. These bumps are wart-like in appearance, or may look like pimples or blackheads. They typically show up along the dog’s back or spine, but are not contagious or harmful to the dog.
